SMK Helmets extends a limited 1-year warranty, from the date of purchase, that the helmet is free of defects in materials and workmanship. When registering the product on our website within 30 days of your purchase, you can extend the warranty with a 2nd year. This warranty applies to the original purchaser only (when bought at our website or an authorised SMK Dealer) and is non-transferrable.
The serial number of the helmet can be found on the chin strap inside your helmet.
Due to global differences in certification & safety requirements, SMK Helmets does not cover trans-border purchases and can only be warranted in the country purchased and its intended country of use. It does not cover normal wear and tear, crash damage or any other damage that is caused by the consumer; for example, dropping the helmet. Neglect, wearer’s misuse and any modification will void the warranty.
To file for any warranty case, please take your helmet, along with your original receipt of purchase to the dealer where you purchased the helmet. The dealer will ask you additional information regarding the problem, your name, and contact information prior to accepting the helmet. If you have purchased the helmet online through the SMK Helmets store, kindly send an email to info@smkhelmets-us.com or click on the following link; with a brief description of the issue, pictures, proof of purchase and your contact information. We will respond to you within 5 business days advising of next steps.
